The KNOCK Circuit
Unique to the Model 5000, the KNOCK circuit is derived from the legendary American compressor's sidechain design. It delivers the kind of punchy, chest-compressing low-end hit that mixing engineers reach for on kick drums, bass, and full mix buses.
The KNOCK circuit engages a low-end sidechain compression characteristic paired with a low-end lift — found nowhere else. This combination adds weight and authority to audio material in exactly the right way, without making it muddy or undefined.

TransX Transformer Saturation
The TransX circuit is an optional input/output transformer emulation. When engaged, it adds pleasing analog solid-state style saturation — the kind of harmonic coloration that real iron transformers impart to the signal path.
Since Model 5000 is designed to be pushed hard, the TransX responds dynamically to your input gain. The more you drive it, the more the transformer character comes through — giving you a musical, organic saturation that breathes with your performance.
