With its cutting-edge technology, this plugin captures the essence of real tape, reproducing its softening of transients and pleasant-sounding saturation and compression.
We used a famous Vintage American 2 Track 1/4 inch Tape Machine with the SM9 Tape Formulation for modeling. We feature 2 unique Bias settings as well as fast (15ips) and slow (7.5 ips) tape speeds and also a unique 2-track mode.

If you have ever used a Tape Machine, you will instantly hear the magic with this plugin. The softening of transients in a natural way, the compression & saturation that tape delivers, can instantly be perceived here .
The Slow and Fast Tape speed brings thickness to Drums, Glue and Punch to an entire Mix and space to Instruments and Vocals . The 2 BIAS modes and the 2 Track Mode + The EQ section brings lots of control to tailor your sound to your ears satisfaction.
Upto 192k Models that minimize aliasing and have a higher frequency response. The incoming audio is oversampled to run the Ultra X Models. These require more CPU usage for superior quality closest to the original source .

Setup and License Registration:
This plugin uses an online-based license registration system that requires an internet connection. When in trial mode, your computer needs to be online to use the plugin.
Once the plugin is registered, you no longer need to be online to use it. We offer a 15-day trial period for the plugin.
The license registration window allows you to log in to your Tone Empire account directly, and the plugin will automatically authorize if you have purchased it from the Tone Empire site. In case of a purchase from one of our third-party distributors, you can create an account from the website or from the license window of the plugin. Then enter your serial code provided by the third-party distributor (e.g., Plugin Boutique), and the plugin will authorize.
