Tried it, first impressions were: Sounds good, is easy to work with, and adds nice color and both depth and warmth.
I’m running it right now on a track with software monitoring enabled, the lowest buffer possible, and I’m seeing maybe about 5-7% usage on one CPU thread. It’s pretty damn good for what it is, and comparable to most of the compressor plugins I use. On an Apple Silicon Mac with a PreSonus Quantum – an interface/driver that makes some non-trivial demands at low buffer settings.
This sounds awesome. But what is preventing it from stealing your wife, using your bank account, and creating Sky Net? I want this compressor, but I also worry about the survival of humanity!

This affects the pre-amp gain/drive and compression threshold as on the analog unit .
This control has 6 different Recovery / Time Constant settings, the attack, and release both are affected by the 6 different selections.
This control let’s you increase or attenuate the processed signal level.
Control the processed signal / Dry Signal balance with this control.
This provides an approximate RMS value for the gain reduction.

Setup and License Registration:
This plugin uses an online-based license registration system that requires an internet connection. When in trial mode, your computer needs to be online to use the plugin.
Once the plugin is registered, you no longer need to be online to use it. We offer a 15-days trial period for the plugin.
The license registration window allows you to log in to your Tone Empire account directly, and the plugin will automatically authorize if you have purchased it from the Tone Empire site. In case of a purchase from one of our third-party distributors, you can create an account from the website or from the license window of the plugin. Then enter your serial code provided by the third-party distributor (e.g., Plugin Boutique), and the plugin will authorize.
