Inpired by the Legendary American Tube Compressor from the 1950s , this cutting edge emulation captures the essence of the iconic Variable MU design and it’s characteristic Tube Warmth. This plugin offers unparalleled smoothness & musical compression. It features the Single (slow attack / slow release) and Double (fast attack / fast release) modes from the original.
THE SOUND :
This compressor excels in its ability to subtly glue together the elements of a mix, making it a favorite for vocals, bass, and across the mix bus. The tubes at the heart of the device introduce a pleasing harmonic distortion, creating a lush texture that enhances the sonic palette.This results in tracks that feel cohesively polished and resonant, with a vintage touch that recalls the warmth and richness of classic records.
Upto 192k Models that minimize aliasing and have a higher frequency response. The incoming audio is oversampled to run the Ultra X Models. These require more CPU usage for superior quality closest to the original source .

INSTALLATION
OSX :
– Download the StaGate.pkg file and click open

Setup and License Registration:
This plugin uses an online-based license registration system that requires an internet connection. When in trial mode, your computer needs to be online to use the plugin.
Once the plugin is registered, you no longer need to be online to use it. We offer a 15-day trial period for the plugin.
The license registration window allows you to log in to your Tone Empire account directly, and the plugin will automatically authorize if you have purchased it from the Tone Empire site. In case of a purchase from one of our third-party distributors, you can create an account from the website or from the license window of the plugin. Then enter your serial code provided by the third-party distributor (e.g., Plugin Boutique), and the plugin will authorize.
